we had some nice success with Pachysandra on the side of the house, and now we're looking to attack the driveway turnaround, a large oval with large decorative rocks and a nice bluestone rock wall.

I've gotten suggestions to use vinca minor, virginia creeper, and periwinkle. I've been able to look up and identify virginia creeper, but are the other two essentially the same plant? If they're not the same, what are their differences?
