Where did you get the santolina and what are you using to trim them? Do you have any problems with these getting too much water? I think you're on your way!

I got the santolina from some local nurseries; however, the gray was hard to find in my area. I really prepared the soil to drain and it has been so dry anyway. I have been trimming with scissors but I can see from my picture that I am not being precise enough. The whole thing is 6'X6'. I drew the design on landscape fabric and put X's and O's where the plants were to be placed. It was more tedious than it looks.

What happens to those plants in the wintertime?

Very nice. I remember when you first mentioned this, I appreciate seeing the finished product. Do you expect it to just get better and better?
