I'm not always a fan of glass block, however In this case I think it works OK, although it's kind of contemporary. I would not put in clear glass, as there is a mirrored vanity directly across from the shower.

We understand the glass block dilemma, and it's fall from fame, and that is why we invented this system some 12 years ago. Color changes the whole look and feel of the applications.

John - there are also clear glass blocks available if someone wants the see-through look with the glass blocks.
