I want to say they are all Miscanthus sinensis cultivars, because of the look of the flower heads.

The first one may be 'Yaku Jima.'

The second one stumps me because of the striping of the medium-width foliage.

The third one is one of the wide-bladed varieties. Maybe 'Malepartus' and maybe 'Silberfeder.' It isn't very happy looking, with sparse foliage and burned blade ends.

This moab grass looks like what we have here at work. I have a question. After winter is over the grass is tan color and the green leaves come out underneath. Does the dead leaves need to be pruned back or does it come back on its own? Appreciate your help. Getting ready for a corporate function.

Usually one trims them before the new grass starts to appear in late winter /early early spring.
