Duh!

I've been amazed for a couple of weeks at how fast the veggie garden soil has been drying up by about 9:00 am, after being drip irrigated for 2 hours every other day. This morning I went out early for some reason, decided to check it out. Well, it was DRY. So I decided to check out the system and see if it wasn't running or something. I turned it on manual, walked over, didn't see any dripping, but heard water running. Walked all the way back - busted connection. All this time it was running all right, gallons and gallons for 2 solid hours in the rear corner. Again, DUH! No wonder the peas are brown, I thought it was because of the heat. It's a wonder anything is alive.
