My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

We are wanting to build a shower (5x3) with a partial wall 54" high with clear glass above it, to the ceiling. It will have a door in that same wall, but we don't want a clear door. Has anyone ever seen privacy and clear glass mixed in a shower?

    I've never seen it but that doesn't mean it's wrong or it's a mistake. It's going into your home and your bathroom and if you want to miz clear and privacy glass then that's exactly what you should do.

    Honestly...I'd advise against it. It's tough to mix glass like that. Many textured glass is also clear (as opposed to frosted or etched) - go for a textured clear on both.

    Sorry Paul - not to disagree with you! I'm just thinking that custom glass shower enclosures are pricey, and if you don't like it, you'll be bummed! If you can see it in a showroom first, then go for it if you like it!
