I bring mine into the garage and let it go dormant, it drops all its leaves, and then next spring I slide it back outside. It releafs and blooms fine.

Mine is overwintered in the basement under fluorescent lights. It loses some leaves, but stays green all winter, and has to be watered regularly. I set it outside about the first of May, sooner if the weather is warm in April. It is still covered in blooms now and is trying to embrace everything around it. Probably will need a haircut before going in for the winter.

I cut mine back and put in garage. They need a little water during the winter but, not too much. Also in the garage is bananas, Small Angel Trumpets, Colocasia Esculenta and Tropical Hybiscus. All go dormant and return fine each spring.

So, are any of us able to get cars in the garage during the winter?

Thanks for resonding. I just had my wisdom teeth taken out, so have been a little out of it. I haven't felt like getting on the pc. Anyways, I will definitely bring it inside and overwinter it. Thank you. Should I bring it in now? -Pony

Pony, I normally wait until right before 1st frost to start dragging everything in.

Snoogie, I'm just hoping to get rid of my '66 LeMans very soon because it takes up soooo much space in the garage....
