Mine were looking great too until the heavy snow moved in over the weekend. The snow was so wet and heavy that it just destroyed them. Glad you are enjoying yours.

I've got numerous grasses too, and have enjoyed looking at how they flower and how the foliage changes color in some of them. There is such a variation in the flowers and seedheads. I enjoy making bouquets of flowers (usually give them away) and like to mix grass plumes in the flower arrangements. It looks so elegant!

you probly alrdy know this, but you can cut your oat grass at any time now and just keep it in a waterless vase and use it for floral arrangements throughout the year. so graceful, and never throws those seed heads.wouldn't it be great if other grasses had that year round value for floral arranging!
