Is 'Cherry Bomb' Barberry invasive here?

Is 'Cherry Bomb' Barberry invasive here? I asked this question in the shrubs forum but was told to find out if it's invasive here and the gaeppc website doesn't show japanese barberry on there. This cultivar does fruit though.

As you know these things are sold virtually everywhere and they are very popular. Seems like if there were a problem, we'd know about it by now.

I don't know if it is the Cherry Bomb cultivar (doubt it), but I asked a friend of mine about his experience with barberry invasiveness and he says he does find barberry seedlings on a regular basis in his garden.

I couldn't find a barberry listed as invasive in Georgia. Here's a link to invasive plants for Georgia.

Sugar Hill, Barberry IS listed on the link you gave. Just search for it on the page (or search for berberis).

The cherry bomb does produce berries.
Me thinks I'm just gonna return it and get something else. Too iffy. Not worth taking the chance.

Sorry, I saw it listed for Tennessee, Kentucky & Virginia. Didn't see it listed for Georgia. Guess I didn't look closely enough.
