I meant peeping not peeking.

Anyway I guess not.

I went. Had a good time. It definitely peaked. Not to be confused with peeked or peeped. Still lots of interesting things to look at up there. In fact I found the hemlocks in the Unicoi state park to be the most fascinating part of the trip. Lots of color in the oaks right now. I think the trees are really confused this year.

Go get some fresh air.

We took our teardrop trailer and camped at Mistletoe State Park (near Thomson) this weekend. Most of the hardwoods had nice color and it was quite enjoyable doing the hiking thing.

Our campsite had a large number of big RV's around so we were pretty much left alone. Those folks pull up, set up their satellite TV dishes and disappear inside for the remainder of the weekend, rarely venturing out. You can't do that with a teardrop.

I love the teardrops. I've been thinking about getting one or even building one. That's true, those luxury RV'ers might as well be in the Ritz Carlton! Although it would be nice to have a fax machine handy while camping.
