Looking for Hachiya persimmon from local nursery

I love the shape of Hachiya persimmon fruit and want to grow it. Anyone know where locally I could get the plant? **Hachiya persimmon**

Not sure about Hachiya persimmon, but I know Farmer D has Hana Fuyu in now. They might be able to special order other types from their grower. Also, check with Johnson Nursery in Ellijay. They specialize in fruit trees and have several types of persimmons.

I've never seen one locally for sale, Johnson's has not carried this variety. Just Fruits and Exotics has them. I have ordered plants from them and been very pleased.
Also, GardenHood in Grant Park has had some persimmons from a nursery I'd not heard of, they might be able to get one for you, the trees they have had are a very nice size...

Thanks for all the info and advices. I just ordered the Hachiya online. Hopefully I will have nice picture of it (with fruit) to post here 3 years from now ;)
