moving aconite/monkshood

I want to move my aconite. Anyone have any experience with this? I understand to keep myself covered so I won't have a skin reaction to it.

Do I just cut the clumps in half or third and transplant them in their new home. Anything I need to be aware of? What's the likelyhood they will survive if they are transplanted now?
