Thanks. I couldn't believe I had lost it, but I referenced it as Dave's Garden and just didn't recognize it when I saw it.

I wish G-web would set up a similar database. They've got this hortiplex already which is kinda sorta similar in function to that other site. I think they could really give ol' Dave a run for his money.

While Lazy S Farm is listed as one of Daves Garden's top 30 firms, their exorbitant Shipping and Handling charges have been the subject of many criticisms.
I have never ordered from a mail-order firm that adds additional charges for order processing, pulling and packing products, packing material, etc., after all, that is a mail-order Business and the cost of preparing an order for shipment should be included in the price of the product!
Only the cost of shipping should be added, then a prospective customer can compare prices, Apples to Apples! IMHO

I'm now in AL but I gardened in GA for over 30 years. I ordered first time from Lazy s's Farm last year (my feedback is on the Watchdog site). I have not ever seen more careful packing...they have photos on the nursery site and explanations of how they protect your plants. True, my order was mostly shrubs and trees and I didn't want them damaged...with perennials and grasses it might not matter so much as they recover quickly.

I don't feel they overcharged at all...just my take on it. I've ordered often from Plant Delights, Niche, Singing Springs, Carroll Gdns. all of which pack well...it's worth the price to me for healthy well rooted plants ready to grow! josh
