POLISH TOMATO
(OP) 85 days
Brick-red 1-1.5 pound meaty tomatoes deliver superb flavor. Grows well and sets fruit even under cool conditions. Legend has it that this Polish heirloom was smuggled out of Poland on the back of a postage stamp. Vigorous, potato-leaved, indeterminate vines.

SOLDACKI POLISH BEEFSTEAK TYPE HEIRLOOM TOMATO
SOLDACKI IS AN OLD POLISH HEIRLOOM TOMATO, DARK PINK FRUIT, LOW ACID, FLATENED BEEFSTEAK TYPE VERY SWEET FLAVOR AND THE FRUIT WEIGHT IN AT ABOUT 1 POUND WITH FIRM FLESH AND THIN SKIN, MATURITY IS ABOUT 75 DAYS. INDETERMINATE VARIETY THAT WILL PRODUCE UNTIL FROST.

Polish Linguisa Tomato
73 days. Lycopersicon esculentum. Plant produces excellent yields of 10 oz red tomatoes. Tomatoes are very sweet and are more productive than most heirloom varieties. These huge sausage shaped tomatoes are excellent for making paste and sauce. A heirloom variety from New York, USA dating back to the 1800's. Indeterminate.

Polish Dwarf
60 days, tree-type �" An early season, tree-type plant with rugose leaves, it reaches 24 to 30 inches tall and produces one to four ounce, red, globe-shaped fruits that are slightly indented at the stem end. Very productive and keeps producing throughout the season.Originally from Poland, our parent stock source was donated to the USDA's gene bank in February of 1965. The USDA ARS accession number PI 304398.

I ran across Polish Amaranth in a seed catalog (online) - could be Nichols Garden Seeds, Southern Exposure (I don't remember which one).

I just bought a tomato plant of Opalka - a very highly rated nearly seedless paste tomato that is just as good used fresh as for sauce. My plan is to sundry them.
