A common fence, at least here in Ontario, in the old days was cedar railing. This fence did not use posts, rather 3 shorter rails were lashed together somehow, to form a tripod into which the rails fitted. I want to make this type of fence but cannot find anything about it on the internet. I think it is a dying art. Does anyone know how to create these tripod like fence supports?
