Here is the before and after in the kitchen of my 1945 home. This was planned as a temporary makeover as we intend to install a new kitchen in a few years and open it up to the main living room to take advantage of the ocean views. The cabinets were painted in BM Dove White and the walls are painted in BM Beacon Gray. The flooring was 3 layers of indoor/outdoor carpet which was replaced by a laminate whitewashed floor. Our goal was to brighten the room and update the finishes - we are very pleased with the results.
