    The backsplash is a sand stone called Cancun Cream natural split face in 16"x24. It was dryset (installed without grout)

    Thank you. We are considering a built in like this but it would be against the extertior wall of the house which has wood siding. Do you think installing a stone backsplash like this with a 30" deep counter is sufficient for heat issues up against wood? Thanks for any insights.
