Recovery 2

Here are some recovery pictures from my yard (thanks for the inspiration Anna). It was definitely flattened by the cold. Then after that we have not much rain and I have been working lots. On the whole though, my garden takes care of itself during the summer and Tim mows the grass so I still have a few spots that look good. Here we go:

Post freeze:

And now for the recovery....

The addition of my bed frame trellis:

The crepe myrtles were stunning from early June to just a few weeks ago:

And some pictures from this morning: The bed frame you see is the same one from the earlier picture:

Who is this guy?

Yes, purple knight can get out of hand but it definitely has its place:

Tim reworked the front path and I like it much better now:

And some pictures of my back garden. This is what happened to my tiny African Blue Basil plant. It is not so tiny anymore. It sits near "The porterweed that will eat the house!"

This bed is pretty but backwards. The tall plants ended up in the front! I'll fix it over the winter.

Thanks guys!

Melissa
