Newbie Needs Help

Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to gardening, I started this summer with mostly potted plants and have really enjoyed watching everything grow and flourish in our wonderful climate. However, as we're approaching our pseudo winter here in Florida I'm a little worried about some of my plants. We just moved to the northern end of Tampa Bay (Wesley Chapel) and I have a bunch of plants I would like to put in the ground but I'm not sure if I should risk it or not. The plants I currently am wondering about are...

grapette ground orchid

bromeliad (I don't know what type it is, but it has a red bloom thats a couple feet tall)

pink allamanda

pineapple

mango tree

rain lilies

Currently in the ground I have a phoenix palm, a triangle palm, a madagascar screw pine, a couple types of heliconia, some ginger (curcuma I think) and jatropha. I think all those will be ok, but again, I just moved here and I think the climate is slightly colder than the more coastal parts of Tampa bay. Any insight you have would be GREATLY appreciated as I have grown to enjoy all my plants and hope to kill as few as possible!

Leah
