I couldn't resist!!!

Golden or possibly Grand Tiara at Walmart. I was there again with a friend and after looking both up online, I found a near perfect specimen of it. It's labeled Golden Tiara but thinking the centers look more like Grand? I could be wrong. Time will tell. But she is stunning and smaller, too. So this makes me happy.

They also had a GORGEOUS Earth Angel that was sporting and I wanted to so badly but I didn't. I need to save room for Luna Moth, Cherry Berry and Rainbow's End. So anyway... Turns out I miscounted last time so say hello to my #7 new hosta for the season, Golden Tiara!

Next to June

Also one of my U. Medio Variegata's is unfurling now...

And this one has several eyes coming through and has a pip or 2...

4 out of 5 U. Medio Variegata's "bulbs" doing something... Not bad, not bad!

You sure are picking "lookers" Brandy! This latest is sooo very pretty with that unbelievably wide margin! Congrats!

I just came in from the backyard..checking out pips! 'Wheee!' is showing 14 pips so far! Things are continuing to look "up" in Ontario. I got my Wheee after you posted yours last year.

    Now I have a WheeeBrandy! :-)

That is Grand Tiara. You can tell because it has wider margins that Golden Tiara. Yours is a beauty. Congrats.

Yeah definitely looks like Grand Tiara to me also. Nice find! Our Wal Mart doesn't even sell hostas anymore. I have several GTs already, though. Phil

I figured as much. Thanks everyone. They have some good ones this year at our local Walmart. I am impressed. They switched suppliers, too. I love mine, she's a stunner and I love how perfect her leaves are. I grabbed her on the spot! Haha!

Thank you, Josephine. Mine (Wheee) is unfurling now. It looks a little unbalanced but so far so good, no cold damage that I can see. *Knocks on wood* I will get pics of it this week when hopefully after this rain, it is looking a little prettier. It looks kinda weird right now. But the leaf that is completely unfurled looks good. I am so happy I didn't lose her (don't tell the others, but next to my first, the Albomarginata, Wheee is my favorite! shhhh... I love all my hostas the same! :-) )

That's cute, ok I won't say a word! Lol. I must say tho' your pickin's are superb!

It'll be great to compare the progress of our Wheee!s with a pic. When you post, I hope too that I have something to show. The pips are still only about 1/4" high, but they are coming along. By George, at this rate we won't have to worry about frosts or freezes at all! :-)

    Thanks, Brandy.

It looks weird before it unfurls for sure. And it was kind of fast and then slow when unfurling. Like one day, I had odd looking pips with curls in them and then next day, I had a couple of semi unfurled leaves and now they are all trying to at once so it looks clumped and weird and hard to tell what it is. I don't know? However the leaves don't appear to have any damage due to the cold like Albomarginata, Fire Island, Krossa Regal and Paul's Glory do.
