Mimosa trees are great for attracting hummingbirds, although I don't know how hardy these trees are. My brother has two mature mimosa trees and when in bloom they are covered with hummingbirds.

Red buckeyes (Aesculus pavia) are touted as being attractive to hummingbirds. It was listed on the tree tag when I purchased the tree and the link that I have listed below shows an article that says that their flowers are suited for Hummers. I can't say that I have ever seen any hummers on the flowers. Of course, by the time the tree blooms I have feeders out so that may be the reason that I don't see them on the trees' red flowers.
