Hey that's great! My husband works in Stephenville. We live in Weatherford. I just put my feeders out this morning. If you have them, then I surely should too. We just moved here in June, and last year we had lots of them. More than 20 at a time for a few weeks, and always 4 or 5 before that.
I just love 'em and some got so tame they would feed with my hand on the feeder. One little female actually sat on my hand a few times.

Welcome to Tx. I dont get that many, last year around 5 maybe. I am hoping to get more this year. So for this is the only little guy that we have seen and my DH has been trying to get a good pic of him or her...as you can tell he is still trying :-) How can you tell female from male?

Youngroot...you probably have the black-chinned hummers. They are turning into mosquitoes down here in San Antonio. I was able to hold the feeder today and have a couple drink from it. The males will have the black head and the female will lack it. Here's a couple links to some I posted (including ones on the same window feeder you have) to help confirm it's the black-chinned. Hope you get more!

I got one! 5:45 PM. April Fools Day but I'm not foolin'.
I took for granted it was a ruby throat, now Mnktx has me wondering. I'll have to get a better look. It was a male for sure though, and hoping the girls will show up soon.

We are up to three so far. A female and 2 males. Boy did they fight the first day they got here but now they take turns. They have been alittle slow today. I might need to drive down the road and see if any new feeders have been put up..Pa get my BBGun. haha DH is still trying to get the good shot. :-)
