Hummingbird Garden

they show hummers in southern michigan a nd wisconsin; ilive south of chicago, there is nothing blooming yet,my daffodils are about ready; what would bring them this far north with nothing blooming? i would love to hear from wisc. or mich. what attracted the hummers to your area so early?

I've wondered the same thing. There is still nothing blooming here in south Texas because of the drouth, but we've had plenty of hummers since mid March.

Oh good Lord, I hope they are not in Michigan yet. It is still below freezing at night, there are no flowers, the flower places don't even have flowers yet. I think I should put out a feeder.
