They're here - I'm in Urbana and mine arrived right around May 1st.

Early, I had at least two different males and as many females. For the last week or so I have been seeing mostly only 1 male, with only a couple quick feeds from a female. The male has staked out my feeders as his and I see him do the chase thing, but haven't been able to see exactly who he was chasing away.

I have always used the saucer type feeders, but earlier this year picked this one up at Oakland Nursery. It is designed for use in hanging baskets. The male is still guarding my saucer feeders, but he is feeding out of this one almost exclusively! Go figure!!!! This one is as easy to clean as my Hummzingers, which for me is a must, so I picked up three more today.

I finally got one last night!!!!!!!! A female!!!! I might trt one of those feeders too....THANKS

The northerly cold winds are holding them back. If they didn't catch the few southerly head winds they have been lingering back I believe. Mine are just now showing up...3 weeks later than usual.
