The top picture , Coral Honeysuckle is a Humingbird magnet , It is also a native to Central florida and while I've seen the bottom flower somewhere, it's name and hummingbird attraction quality escape.

Could the second plant be a type of begonia or cactus? The flower looks like a cactus blossom; is that a possibility?

The top plant is coral honeysuckle which is a U.S. native species.The second plant looks like Begonia 'Bonfire'.

Greenthumbzdud said it looked like a Begonia 'Bonfire', but if you look at the leaves, the leaves on my plant have jagged edgies to the leaves, and the red part of the plant is quite meaty.

Someone else mentioned a cactus. No, definately not a cactus.

Also, from what I'm reading, the begonia bonfire, will attract a great number of butterflies and hummingbirds.
