Yes, I've noticed that, too. They seem to make frequent trips to the feeder always just before dark as if they're trying to get as much as possible to hold them overnight. Tonight, I watched one hummer leisurely visit every bleeding heart flower at about 8:15.

They are sort of making a habit of it now 3nights in a row just before dark. IM seeing very little action during the day though.

I have had a male at the feeder in the evening - night actually - between 8 and 9 pm for a few nights now. I was out covering my annuals last night and the male and female buzzed past me. It was 8:30 pm. I've taken a few pictures of them, but it's so dark and dim they're not very good.

I'd read they will feed in the night sometimes - has anyone seen this?
