My sister and I were sitting on the deck watching two hummingbirds in the garden and she said "I bet one's ging to fly to the regular bird feeder because it's red". Well shortly after she went inside a hummingbird from the garden went to the birdseed feeder! I hovered at it then went back to the garden.
