Hummingbird Garden

Another unkown hummer...

The hummer on the link flew in as I was photographing something else, and the setting eas wrong. So they are not very clear,especially for ID'ing such a small bird.

It was quite a large hummer with distinct striping on the stomach. Brilliant green with ane orange and while tail feathers. It hasn't returned as yet.

Maybe because we have so many others around, and also lots of Hummingbird moths.

Being in the midwest of usa we only see on type of hummer period. Im sure there is a master list somewhere online that you can refer to to ID your bird. Posting a photo is really easy. Login, set your size, check the little box right below photo then highlight line that says HTML TAG copy the entire line after tag, copy and paste it into the text of your message. Make sure you highlight and copy the entire line or it wont show. Since I have dial up I have had to get the help of re-size software and it works great and is very easy. I use " resize photo magic" and it speeds up my uploading process.
