Hi, MsTreen. This time of year, there seems to be a lot of Anna's hummingbirds due to breeding. The bird in the video was probably a young male, and there are lot's of young ones flying around. There are around three adults sitting at various places in the yard guarding whatever their favorite food source is, and if they are scared off, or fighting etc.........the others come zooming in, as least until they are found out.
