New blooms

Hi all. Here are pics of two plants blooming for the first time. Both of them are from Denise,cuttings from about a year ago.

Question, the one that was labeled Hoya rubra, it doesn't look like a regular carnosa, is it a subspecies?

Hoya obscura - I realize I'm growing this one in more light than needed, but I love the redness on the leaves.

rennfl, i like very much red leaves of your hoya obscura....

i bought,some mounth ago,a hoya obscura so much different from your!!!
the leaves are all green and they don't become reds whith sun.
is a different specie of obscura???

Beautiful obscura Renee...love the blooms and your plant! That Carnosa flowers are very pretty too...thanks for sharing!

My Macrophylla variegated Bloomed for the very first time yesterday! I've been waiting 3 years for this one,lol...Finally!

There are several different types of H. obscura. There is one that the leaves stay green even in high light. There is also obscura 'Major' that gets bigger leaves. Those get very red in high light.
