Thansk guys! I've spent all week thinking about the little fellow. Maybe he was on his way to Mexico. That'll give me even more daydreams abut what he was doing and thinking while he was flitting about my yard.

I know isn't that neat? I always wonder where they go in Mexico what's it look like what their favorite flower is. What is their favorite tree and how they interact with the larger non migratory mexican hummers. Sarah

No, I have purchased a feeder and made the modifications suggested by this forum's members, but then I waited to see if the one that visited me the first year was just a fluke.

This one was just sipping from the flowers in the backyard. I noticed him because he started with the flowers next to the regular feeders.

I'm definitely putting one up next year. Would there still be time for this year? Or should I just stick to planting the right flowers?
