Other sites with unique recipes

It seems like most extension sites republish the same recipes that are found at the National Center for Home Food Preservation. But there are are a few extension sites that I keep revisiting because they have either completely different information or useful supplement information to add to what NCHFP has.

For pickles:
The University of Wisconsin guide Pickles and Relishes

For apples:
The University of Minnesota Extension

(Covers canning apples in apple juice; NCHFP only covers water and syrup).

For peppers:

Yep. My favorite is from the University of Wyoming Extension: Preserving Food in Wyoming Wild Berries and Other Wild Fruit

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Extension has a few fruit publications which have at least a couple unique canning/preserving recipes in them as well as other interesting (non canning) recipes:
Rhubarb
Gooseberry
Serviceberries

As you can see I've got a bit of a sweet tooth.

Please keep in mind that links to all the other Extension websites are available from NCHFP - check out the Publications link there.

Also that the instructions provided by NCHFP can be used interchangeably in most cases with other members of the same 'family'. For example, a berry is a berry is a berry be it blue, goose, black, cran, elder, etc. when it comes to the recipes.
