I went outside yesterday afternoon when the winds died down enough. Most of the birds were still hunkered down, but the hummers were darting around like crazy. A lot of their plants were kind of horizontal but still had flowers. Looking out the window as I'm typing this, I can see them at the Duranta repens leaning on the window. Guess the storm didn't really keep them from fattening up for their migration in early November.
