Hi...most of the hummers have begun their trek south headed across the Gulf, but there's certainly a possibility you might attract a few at this point. If so, leave the feeder up as it will not encourage them to stay...they will know when to migrate. I'm in the deep south, so I really don't know anything about hummer activity in your zone.

I still have lots of them and continue to fill my 12 feeders, but I have noticed a slight decline in the last two days. They are such fun and a joy to have, but these little buggers are beginning to wear me out! LOL!

I live in Metro (south) Atlanta and I noticed some minor action about a week after I put up 2 feeders last April/May. Now it's September and I have a daily swarm!

Hi, I am in Astoria/Long Island City area. I had sightings of hummingbirds about a week ago, but it only stayed for a fleeting couple minutes on the purple butterfly bush. A couple of days ago, the red cypress vines came into bloom, and there are at least two hummers that abide for long periods at a time to sip the nectar.

I did put up a couple of Hummzinger feeders soon as I caught first glipmse, but I have not yet witnessed the birds feeding off these artificial feeders. I have seen one hover up-close for a peek a couple of times, but that's it.

Maybe they haven't figured out that there is sugar water for them to feed on in the saucer feeders, and maybe I might be more successful if I had bought and used the varieties of feeders that are in stock at the local Home Depot.

I also have a few bare sparesely-leaved broken branches (I think someone called them "charges") that are thrust in the ground, and in the wire fence, etc. at a height for them to rest on, and one hummingbird likes to perch and scratch and groom itself on all these branches, so I would recommend making an addition of such feature.
