Gartenmeister Bonstedt root very fast for me. Can you describe the method you're using to root cuttings.

"Koralle" is another reddish tryphylla type. Color is a bit more muted, more salmonish.

I have been taking cuttings of the tender ends of the plant; it doesn't seem to matter if I use a cutting from an end with blossoms or one with just leaves. I dip it in Rootone and place it in moist potting soil, in shaded light. My success is about at 30%.

What do you suggest? I'd appreciate any advice very much.

I do cutting in water and in soil with a rooting hormone and I have about 98% success with both methods. Last year I had so many plants that I didn't even have room for them and that was after giving many away. I have one cutting now already blooming that is from a piece that broke off in late summer.

In the spring, our whole neighborhood will be full of gartenmeister loveliness!

The most important thing is the 6 inch clear dome on the seed tray to keep the humidity high and keep the leaves from drying out until roots can form. You can also add vermiculite and a little potting soil to the perilte. But try to mist just the leaves and keep the mix from getting too wet. I also prefer the rooting hormone powder over the jell.
