Mine do :) One feeder on the 2nd story window, and also a feeder hanging from the 2nd story deck. I think someone else (Penny) is many stories up with happy hummers, as well!! Christy

Christy--- Its not Penny, its Jenny in se Pa who lives in a high rise and has great success with hummers. How high is she , I dont know but I have a feeling shes more than any two stories.

I had a hummingbird visiting some Impatiens glandulifera I had growing in a pot on my 14th story balcony this summer. I am going to grow more plants for the hummers next year now that I know they will find them up this high.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but you are so right about the "bugs" getting hummers. This past spring I walked out the back door where I had my feeders hanging at about 9'. I noticed movement on the ground and found a hummer and dragonfly going at it. I scared them, and they flew off in different directions. I later asked about it on another forum, and was informed that dragonflies are predators that will and do kill hummers!

And there are no stupid questions, and like Steve said only stupid answers!
