I have not had this nor do I know anyone who has. One of the first things I want to know when opting for a new kind of feeder is how easy will it be to take apart and clean. I would give a test before I bought it.

Thanks Steve, I guess I will pass on it. Even with the 50% off it is still 17 bucks. I have not seen any mention of the feeder on the web either.

It was not that hard to take apart, just unscrew a bolt at the bottom and pull the bottle out. From there it was just unscrew the top and clean. The red base might be hard to clean as the hole was real small, plus I am not sure if it drips or not. I have a feeling it will.

FYI - I buy those baby bottle brushes with the attached nipple brush on the opposite end. It is great for cleaning the hummer feeders! They aren't very expensive either. You might find them at Walmart, but I got mine at Babies R Us. They have a bigger selection. Usually cost $2-3 bucks.

I had one similar to the one in your picture several years ago. I got rid of it after about a month. The nectar would soak into the wood and it stayed sticky all the time.
