'Jungle Gold'

I had my seed grown ones in 4" pots and while they looked healthy,they weren't getting any larger or producing many flower so just last week I planted them out.With all the rain we've had,they have spurted up and are now covered w/ LOTS of blooms and buds. I'm so proud of myself for getting them to grow from seed and not killing to this point.

They seem to need lots of room for the roots. I find they grow superbly in pots until the roots reach the pot, then they start to drop leaves, go yellow, and generally get unhappy. It might just be difficulty maintaining a steady moisture level. They are very vigorous compared to the more common Impatiens, I'm sure yours will be huge now they are in the soil.

Does anyone know a nursery or mail order place that carries plants and/or seeds of Jungle Gold impatients? I live in Florida so need them now. Thanks.

Thompson & Morgan has seeds. Parks Seed carries seeds & plugs in their wholesale catalog....don't know if there's any in their retail catalog as I only get the wholesale catalog.
