Any suggestions on what to plant around a stand of established peonies? I have a bed about 20 ft by 6 ft that has 4 nice stands of peonies in in, but nothing else.

I'm not sure what may coexist with them and cover the bare dirt/gravel cover that's there now. Thanks in advance for any advice!
