Because of a major home improvement project I moved my hanging baskets to the house next door and kind of forgot about them. The window boxes there have done very well (except for the one that doesn't get rain and didn't get a lot of help from me) I only had red geraniums in them though. It's actually been very pleasant in our part of Iowa the past few days :~)

The Vinca baskets have done so well this year at my house. They hang on the east side of the house. I picked several up from Menards when they were $3.50 each.

The pink looks good always. The white with pink centers seem to get droopy when hot, but seem to recover fine. They have been continuously flowering. I don't buy the petunia baskets anymore, they don't seem to fare near as well. I will be planting them in the flowerbox next year, instead of the petunias.

I am so glad to hear someone else likes the vinca baskets. I have now pulled all the petunias and dug up vincas from the garden and stuck them in the pots. So far they are doing well. But I'm watering them twice a day till they get established. Looks as if we might get a good rain tonight and that will help. The Med. vincas are low and trailing so I put them around the edge of the pots and an upright one the same color in the center of the pots and they look quite nice.
Your pictures are pretty, maybe next year mine will look like that. The only thing is, I start my own seeds and my vincas are slower getting started than the petunias. If I have good luck getting these huge vincas to adapt to their new home, maybe I will plant petunias and when they get not as pretty in July I will change to vincas. I think it should have been done the middle of July instead of later on in August. Jeannie
