Gopher keeps refilling the hole and covering the traps, sometimes tripping it, sometimes not. I trapped several a couple of years ago on first or second try.

After 3 days, no results. Any tips on what to do when hole is being refilled but trap not catching him? Tried a carrot behind trap one time.
