'Witching' (I know it's a repeat)

Well here's my 'Witching'. I bought it potted and it was blooming along with my crocus and the bulbous irises. The white balance has been so difficult to get right with this one. The bluer image is in the shade and the redder image is in indirect sun. Neither one is really accurate, but I love this variety.

Thank you! I've seen how much photos vary of this cultivar.

If Witching opens on a cloudy day it is very rich in colors. It lightens quickly in the sun. I don't know if I would grow this cultivar if I lived in the desert.

Thanks for that info. I think I've only seen 2-3 iris that actually look as well faded.
