Hi I am new to this forum and was just wondering in anyone from the UK has tried the kratky hydroponic method?

I have been running a couple of experiments and just wondered how others had found it and what solution they had used?

Not in UK, but I'm trying out the 4 liter bottle variation right now. Although, your plants are a little further onthan mine. So far so good.

I have been using Canna Aqua Vega with a little added Epsom salts. Just adjusted the pH then followed the instructions. Seems to be working well and plants look nice and healty. I was a little bit worried that the NPK levels seem a little low to what I have seen in videos. Trouble is it is not easy to find a similar type of hydroponinc solution in the UK. Maybe others on here know of better solutions?

I too had a go at the 4l bottle to begin with just using some miracle grow. Plant still alive but it proved that miracle grow was no good for this type of thing.
