I didn't know what it was, but after reading a bit more on it I would say to grow it like many other fast growing, easily bolting herbs in heat. Sow every couple of weeks and harvest entire plants or keep it from flowering. Keeping it from flowering by cutting buds off can be cumbersome and some plants still lose their flavor and aroma. Just because its not flowering doesn't mean it's producing essential oils that give flavor, right? I would start new plants every couple of weeks and harvest young growth. Keep in mind that this is just an opinion based on reading about the plant. I've never grown that one.

I didn't want to meddle here firstly, as it may sound like smart alecking after and contradicting "my friends". ;-)

I have in fact grown wild rocket several times and yes, the hint with frequent sowing and early harvesting is a good advice. For the flavour part I cannot actually follow the reflections, nor agree. Wild Rocket has a strong flavour anyway - and in fact often more than required. As it is used to spice up- or even as a major ingredient -in salads, it's actually preferable if it's young sprouts that are milder in flavour.

Also, as you are in fact interested in leafs and not in stalks or seeds, the "appearing stem pruning theory" certainly applies here without worries about a loss of flavour - on the contrary, with wild rocket less is indeed more. Thus it should either be entirely harvested before- or prevented from bollting. In this particular case and with this herb bolting, the concentration in essential oils increases and may quickly become too much of a good thing. Just try it and tell me in case I was wrong ;-)
