Special Request

Last fall I thought I was going to have to give up my dream and I sold and gave away my irises and daylilies since we thought we were going to have to sell our farm. IÂm very happy things worked out though and we didnÂt have to sell it after all. Between the money from my flowers and my husband working a second job, we pulled ourselves out of the hole we were in.

Anyway, not much of my beautiful collection is left  I went from having over 800 iris cultivars to around 100 scraggly survivors. My best new cultivars and all the bubbly, vibrant and dramatic ones I loved so much went quickly last fall when I offered up everything I had for super cheap prices so that all of them would find new homes.

I am very eager to get back into hybridizing again. If you have some nice irises or daylilies you can share with me in return for postage or for very low pricing, IÂll be more than grateful to you.

IÂm hoping for some seedling beauties, recent introductions and other nice cultivars that have good characteristics and parent potential. I love anything bubbly, wavy, with ruffles or lace, and IÂm awed by dramatic, vivid, dark and vibrant colors.

In the future I plan to share my best seedlings and new introductions with contributors when IÂm able to return the favor.

Please send whenever itÂs best for you. IÂm ready to plant anytime.

Thanks,

CathyÂs Plants
