can you get away with higher temps with aeroponic system because the roots are in the air and have more o2 then in a hydro or nft type system?

I say let it rip... correct a problem if/when it comes up. I have heard of people messing with the set-up until the plants die. All you can do is the best you can do.

I have heard of a method to keep nute temps down. Freeze a couple of small bottles of water and put them in the tank as the heat of the day approaches. this assumes you have the time to "be there".

I run my system at 69 to 76F (diurnal ambient air temp). My nute temps swing from 70 to 75F as well (diurnal). Everyone says keep the nute temps below 70F at all times. I don't care what everyone says, our plants are growing well. If they show a problem... we'll do our best to correct it.

I do run a small air pump from wally's world to keep my tank bubbling. I think it would put you back $8 including the air stones. Your system looks good and your plants are healthy... That is about all a guy could ask for, eh? I'd say so. Your doing fine!

I had the same question as propman.......I am growing out doors in a greenhouse, I haven't actually checked the temp of my nutrients , but I do stick my hand in it on a daily basis, it felt like my spa "It was very warm". I have not done anything to correct it because my plants seemed to being doing fine. I am growing a variaty of plants, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Honeydew & broccoli. Oh yea, I am using a EBB & Flow hydro system. I now have flowers on the cucumbers, and some buds on two of the tomatoe plants.
