Jen, I've toured Schreiner's display gardens twice this year because I've so fallen in love with them! Out of all those hundreds, my favorite is still my 'Starship Enterprise' - which I think might go beautifully with your yellow/maroons:

Jen: Honorabile is a very famous "historic" iris - introduced by Jean-Nicolas Lemon (a Frenchman) in 1840. It is called a miniature tall-bearded. The historic irises are amazing, very special in my view, but they can be overwhelmed when planted next to today's huge fancy tall beardeds. I don't believe they go well together... my "Honorabile" is planted with other historics, plus some ferns and some smaller hostas. This way, they get to shine on their own. Pat
