Well, I did get Champagne Waltz a couple of years ago, & if it fades it might look just like the pics on line. But I SURE didn't think that is where I planted it, of course, wouldn't be the first time that happened. It would make sense for it to be CW, since I hadn't seen it bloom this year.
Thanks!

The other alternative is if you purchased Chariots of Fire which is of a similar coloration

Here is a link that might be useful: Chariots of fire

nzirishunter,

I hope you don't mind, but I went on to view more of your photos from your link and I have to say you take amazing photos! I'm going to have to go back to view more later, because you kept impressing me more. This is coming from someone that's taken well over 50,000 photos in the last 10 years, so I've seen a few captures lately and you very pleasantly surprised me.

ngraham,

I hope you find the name of your iris and I won't hi-jack your post anymore, but I had to say something about those gorgeous photos.

Brock

nzirishunter,

Please forgive me.

I mistook your link to sharonmyphotos' gallery as a link to your own photos. Remembering you are in New Zealand and seeing they're from Missouri (and even recognizing several beds from the 2005 AIS Convention) has helped to clear things up on my end.

I fully enjoy the photos you post on your blog and I never meant to say anything less. I hope you will continue to add to it for a long time to come.

I almost didn't have the heart to admit that all of that had just come to me, but I try very hard to be honest. And as I've said to my friends: "If I can't be honest in front of everyone, am I really being honest?"

I hope you won't hold my misunderstanding against me.

Brock

Actually, I think it does look more like Chariots of Fire, but I have never purchased that one. Must be champagne Waltz, but it kept its color nicely all day but really didn't seem to open up much more than seen here. I really like the color on it.
