By the way, I'm growing them indoors... on a windowsill..... just thought you might want to know. I might even experiment on how magnetism affects the growth and fruit developement of the plant. I'll surround the plant with magnets and see what happens. What size pot should I use? Does the strawberry type affect this? Please help me grow my strawberries.

I gave up on strawberries. They require the garden spot all year yet produce for only two years and then you have to keep it weeded. I even tried the "Ever bloom" variety.

Alpine strawberries are interesting and are small enough plants that they accent a flower garden quite well. Small fruit but powerfully strong flavor. Good as a snack while weeding.

In the end, I placed an ad in Craig's List and gave them away requiring the takers to dig them up themselves...
