I used it this year.When I clean the dirty green with algae backwash sand from the swimming pool filter.I have grown sweet potatoes all my life,but this years crop ways huge.

The most notable thing about algae is the growth rate. In warm weather some kinds can double their weight in a day. Hmmm...harvest and repeat.

During the summer I keep my guppies outside in two 50 gallon tanks. They eat mosquito larvae and what little fish food i give them during this time. Consequently, I have virtually no mosquitoes with the exception of a few strays from the neighbors. My central air conditioner unit condenses about 10-15 gallons of water a day out of the air. I dump that cool and clean water into the guppy tank in part to keep it cool and reintroduce fresh oxygen. The guppy tank grows quite green from both algae nitrogen fixation and the nutrients from fish waste. I think the guppies also benefit from the green water. Lastly, from the guppy's tank, I take 10-15 gallons of algae water to water my garden.

I benefit from no mosquitoes, reduced fish feed, and free fixed nitrogen for my garden.
